SWAT Your Dog when Necessary

wound care

My years of having a Farm and rescued Farm Animals taught me a lot of tricks that are helpful for Dog care.  A great one is SWAT.  It’s an ointment that specifically has stuff in it to repel flies, gnats and other hateful creatures.  And it’s formulated to be very sticky; it stays where you put it!
In the “Dog Days” of Summer Heat… any cut, scrape, hot spot, rash or incision site has a risk of getting a lot worse if bugs, especially flies, get at it.
SWAT is what you need!  It comes in two forms: the Original, which happens to be insanely PINK, and the other is white.  Might be my imagination, but I’ve always thought that the pink is stickier and the white seems more prone to melting and rubbing off.

Follow the directions and ask your vet if you have any questions.
Price: About $9.00 for this 6 Oz. jar and it will last you a long time.
